Nancy worked for 13 years as an attorney for Intercor, the operating company of the El Cerrejón-North Zone coal complex, and for 10 years as the General Secretary of the Unión Fenosa Group (now Naturgy) in Colombia, with investments in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and retail. She participated in the expansion project of the Cartagena refinery and led the sale process of London Mining Plc‘s coal coking project in Colombia.

Since April 2013, she has been working as an independent consultant at both national and international levels, specializing in regulatory matters for the mining and energy sector, public utilities, in addition to corporate issues, national and international contracting.

Nancy has extensive experience interacting with sector institutions and in formulating policy and regulatory proposals. She has also served on the boards of directors of various companies in the electricity sector.

Graduated from Universidad del Rosario, she pursued her Executive MBA at Universidad de los Andes.

Since 2000 she worked with the the electricity distribution and retail companies in the Colombian Caribbean. She served as the Director of Litigation and was responsible for the Legal Services Unit. She also managed theL egal Department of the Special Projects Unit at Gas Natural Servicios Integrales. From 2019 to 2021, she directed the Revenue Planning department for Naturgy’s electricity distribution company in Panama.

Initially trained and experienced in Insurance Law, she provided services to insurers at national and international levels. She led the creation of the Cartagena chapter of the Colombian Association of Insurance Law (Acoldese).

Since 2022, she has been working as an independent consultant at the national and international levels.

Paulina graduated from the University of Cartagena, with specialized studies at the Universidad Externado de Colombia and postgraduate courses in commercial and constitutional law from the universities of Salamanca and Toledo (Spain), as well as an International Course on LA/FT Prevention at Universidad del Rosario.

Accountant with extensive experience in financial management (treasury, accounting, taxes) of public utility and integrated services companies, both nationally and internationally.

For 23 years, she worked at national and international companies in the sectors of electricity and gas distribution and retail, and other services. She served as the director of the financial area, responsible for advising various business units, structuring new business lines and analyzing the impact of regulatory provisions on the companies’ outcomes, managing audits, and presenting financial statements.

She was in charge of the Shared Services Center for 53 companies located in Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, overseeing the accounting and fiscal administration of the entire operation. She has experience in the economic-financial management of renewable energy companies in Latin America.

A graduate of Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, she has postgraduate studies in accounting administration and business management from ESADE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
